Please don't ask me why, I know it's not ideal but I'm curious. What would NPI heads do to compression on a PI shortblock? I'm assuming compression would be down in the 8.x:1 region??

Great guess, I found 8.63:1 in a book I bought a while back. 17cc dish pistons in 99-up shortblocks and 51cc chamber volume for NPI heads. Figured it was pathetic. I have a source for police interceptor stuff and I've got an 02 shortblock with 1 good PI head. I also just got a set of very usable non PI heads. I guess I'll try to parlay those into another single PI head.
