ive got a 92 5.0 lx, with the following mods. headers, off road hpipe, mac cat back, 3.73 gears, subframe connectors, 190lph pump, adj. regulator, c&l 76mm mass air w/intake elbow, smog delete, etc. and a zex wet kit, stock aod, the car has 65,000 miles,. my best pass on motor was 15.1 at 93.4, on a 125 shot on 10degrees timing on street tires with 93non ethanol, it went 13.323 at 104.6 sprayin it from the 60 foot mark cause im on street tires, do u think a 150 shot will blow the head gaskets, would it be worth it thanks jake

150 is OK for the Stock car not more than that. Also good rule of thumb from my Tunner, 2 degrees retard for every 50 Shot after the first 50. So for the 150 shot pull 4 degrees and i would set the timing at 12 degrees to get a better out of the box launch.

Also are you using a retard box and a WOT switch with a RPM window switch. You want the car to be up in the 3000rpm range when the nitrous comes in.
