I machined the calipers on the 85 so I didn't have to use any spacers like what the S&S kit comes with. If you had to guess, did you take off a 1/16th, 1/8th, or more off the calipers? I already have all the ATS stuff for the 88 and I can always order the Saleen wheels for it...but I'm kinda hung up on those NVX wheels. I have a machine shop, so manipulating a couple mm here and there on the calipers or spindles is not a big deal. But if you thinks it's too much of a pain to deal with I'll stick with your advice.
