o/r X vs H pipe Performance

What is the difference in performance and sound between an o/r H pipe (in this case a MAc prochamber) and a 2.5" mandrel x pipe (http://www.mustangtuning.com/noname4.html )

x pipes make 5-10+ more hp and have a little more high pitched sound in upper rpms.

not true. there have been dynos posted that show X pipes make just as much low end torque as h pipes.
