O/T What do you do for a living

What do you do for a living.
What does everyone do for a living and where do you work.

Me I work for Boring I mean Boeing in Fredrickson if work is what you call it.
Today I played on the internet for 8 hours @ $43 per hr.
Get this they pay me just to sit here just incase there is something to do.
Four days this week I have done nothing

But I did do a lot of research for my Mustang.

Next week they are going to teach me Photoshop Pro

I'll soon be leaving MS to work for Boeing on the UCAV DARPA project.
I've been told I'm hired but waiting for the offer paperwork from HR so I don't know what I'll be paid.

I work in 37* cooler every single day and load trucks with milk for Starbucks. I wont be there long because I leave for the Navy very soon.

My wife and I make over six figures and I have a 94 GT .
Of course it has $10k spent on upgrades which is why I still have it.

Priorities man. I have two young kids and the last thing I need is them trashing an expensive car. The Lincoln LS is about as spendy a car as I need right now.

Captain for American Airlines and wife is a mortgage broker, still only have a 84 Mustang. Big house, big boat and 3 kids to put thru college before I retire means no new Mustang for me, your priorities will change as you get older and want a paid for house when you retire. How many more years do you have to work? How many years left on your mortgage? Things to think about.

was in the navy and worked on the F-14 got out in 1993 worked various jobs and now work for the federal bureau of prisons as a corrections officer and the wife is a medical coder

Well I was talking to the first guy that started the thread.....you have over 10 k invested into your car that is understandable......Also you have another car to go with your mustang so I take it it is not your daily driver.....I am not saying that it isn't heard of I would just find it interesting if someone made nearly 90k and drove a 95 gt not that modded.....

Also I do understand the priorities, I am 23 years old and have bought a house and feel I am doing pretty good for myself at the age I am..... and doing so I had to get rid of the Mustang I traded it in for an SUV, because of priorities.

Ya no prob. Just thought it was funny that he isn't the only one with an old car and enough income to buy a new one.
