OBDII Port, No Power

Ok, so about two weeks ago i plugged in my preditor and tuned for 93 for the summer. Saturday night my CEL turns on, usually the P0420, P0430 code from when i got my headers installed. I go to plug in my tuner to clear the codes and no power... my first reaction is... oh ****, my stock tune is in the tuner, the tuner is busted great. i got home and plugged it in to the wall adapter, it stareted right up so i was releived. I did some searched and saw that many people just had to replace the fuse under the dash, after checking fuses 31 and 34 that were linked to the portand fuse 1 for the cig lighter, the fuses checked out and were ok, and i also have power to my cig lighters. I was able to clear the codes by running a cord to my car and plugging the adapter into the tuner in order to power it. What could be the problem here? Is there something im missing? Another fuse maybe?

Any recent work? New radio install? There is a ground behind the center console that is shared with the radio and several other devices. It's frequently messed up during a radio install.

Check the grounds. Measure the resistance of the DLC connector pin #4 (BK) and Pin #5(BK/YE) back to battery negative with the key off. Should be low. Post.

nope, nothing done except i took out my fender CAI, nothing back there has been moved, i will check the resistance when i get home if its not pouring by that time, but other than just plug in and unplug of the tuner, nothing there has been touched

i would go ahead and replace your fuses anyways whether they check out or not. happened on my brothers 07 he blew a fuse loading a tune. replaced the fuse and everything was good to go again. so i would just replace that anyways its cheap.

RESOLVED!!!

Ok so it was an easier fix than i thought, i went and got some fuses and replaced them just in case, nothing, checked the power and there was power to the DLC. suspicious i opened the female DLC on my tuner, and sure enough, the ground broke free of the connector, soldered it back and bingo bango ready to go go, thanks for the help everyone!:nice:
