I was driving down the freeway cruising at about 3k rpm with my wife following me. She said that every couple of minutes a white puff of smoke would come out my tail pipe.

I'm running Performer Cam, Intake, Edelbrock 600 cfm carb, and roller rockers. Engine was rebuilt about 20k miles ago.

Any ideas what it could be?

maybe on your exhaust stroke not all the gases are being expelled as they should be......and it builds up to the point where every couple of minutes it finally reaches the point where it builds up enough excess to expel itself......its a wild idea i know, but this brings back memories of my honda's problems.....similiar but not exact......eh, it's wild but...hey, its an idea....

Huh?

I thought they already elected a new Pope.

OTOH too bad you can't get a whiff so you can tell if it's oil or coolant.
