odd sound from S/C

[94IVGT]

ive got a 94 GT vortech sq trim and at idle it has and odd sound almost like a grinding sound but gone when you rev it up alittle. is it supposed to make a nouse such as this at idle? belt is not to tight either and its getting good supply of oil, sorry for no sound clips.

LOL and the fix for the noise is to run a smaller pulley.
