Just checking and rechecking my connections from my N20 install, changing the jet when I noticed my stock rubber intake tube had some scarring on the hose clamp area.
I have the Accufad 75mm throttle body and hafta really squeeze the hose over it(WD40 helps). Well, when i was making sure the nozzle was pointed into the throttle body, I saw some daylight through the collar area of the rubber hose. Upon further inspection, it was very very thin in a few other places.....appx. 50% of the hose.
I think im going to get the Steeda CAI kit or the Mac straight shot sometime next week. I have an autox tomorrow and need the car, so I went and bought some all purpose glue stuff that sets up kinda quick and ran me a good line around the suspect areas. Imma let it setup over night and just re-intall it all in the morning before I leave.
Just a note, to check your hose if you have it stretched over a bigger throttle body.
