Off Road X Pipe guys...

Ok...I have the Pypes OR X pipe(no cats) with Pypes Violators muffs. And Yes... it is ****ing LOUD. Hey......I'm all for LOUD. But....This says... Cops I'm over here! What Muffs will tone this down some? Thanks

Borlas would, as would magnaflows...I think the problem is the X...go catted H, sounds much better, in loudness and in just plain sound.

about anything will be loud with an off road xpipe....i've had mac and now midmuffler which did tone it down alittle but some of my friends still say it's too loud.

Magnaflow full-bodied mufflers are as quiet as they come - NOT Magnapacks. Go back to oem mufflers............

Just have some cats or a resonators welded in and you will be fine. It will tone it down but keep the sound the same.

Install some resonators, they will tone it down some, plus take away some of the raspy-ness, which most X-Pipes create.

I put my pypes xpipe on last week, i ordered a catted version, and through some complications I had it on without cats for about 20 minutes and it was the loudest most obnoxious thing ever. Put cats on it and BAM, beautiful noise. Its got that new edge raspyness but still has an aggressive tone that would be associated with a mustang. I love my car with my catted x. I dont know how someone could drive an x without cats, its just stupid ass loud.

I was running the factory manifolds with O/R H and MAC mufflers and it was loud as hell, both inside and out of the car! I installed Stainless Works LTs and O/R X with the same MAC mufflers and what a difference! It's still just as loud outside, but not as obnoxious and inside the car got much quieter!

Starting to get use to it....I'll stick with the stupid ass loud for now. More HP!!!

Not going for sound...going for HP. All the dyno runs we have made....the X pipe has always come out on top.

Working on installing CNC ported heads, and changing out the cams. Waiting on update on the C&L intake also.
