Basicly your gonna want 4v heads some compression and a nasty solid roller which with the right parts should fly past 500 rwhp.

You speak the truth grass hoper! There's no better sound then a 351 roller motor!!

When I was growing up this kid bought a 64 Fairlane body, didn't go for the T-bolt look, he just slammed it to the ground and put a fire breathing 351 roller in it!
What freakin AWESOME SOUND!!!

nope horn doesnt work, and fornt light do, the rest dont. battery was hooked to the charger on engine start just to make sure it had juice. maybe wasnt enought. ima try my brothers optima batt tomorrow. hope thats the only problem. oh and the key doesnt come off. i gotta check whats up wth that. but tomorrows plans are cleaning the interior real nice and give it some armor all and getting the engine cranking.

and yeah, i wanna get 4v heads or aluminum heads. and i found a cam set on ebay for mid 200 something bucks and it has a nice lift of .520 on int. and exh. dont remember the other specs right now but seems like a nice cam. i believe it was a mild to rough idle.

well, according to the guy who sold it to me, just about one to two weeks ago it ran. but i doubt it. the car hasnt seen a road legally since 1980. so yeah, if nothing works, i guess im forced to rebuild it or figure something else out.

lmao no its stick. 3 speed toploader. but yeah no e-brake either. the whole brake system is just a big surprise. too scared to check whats wrong lol. but thats next once it has everything running smooth. all the electrics work perfect now. and turns out, the starter was fine, sanded the sides a bit and got it to fit and bought a new batt. if you want ill post the pathetic videos up, but i dont think its worth it. tomorrow im getting gas for it so i could actually have a steady run.

oh and i discovered that someone stuck an engine flush in it and never took it out. im gonna change the oil tomorrow as well.

no e brake? maybe its just missing the cables, my first 5.0 was like that, 15.00 for the cable at a junkyard......then it worked fine, a little loose but still worked....

yeah gotta check the brake lines and cables. oh and today i changed the oil on it, rebuilt the carb, bought and installed a new fuel pump, bought a new fuel filter, put 5 gallons of premium, and thats about it. tried seeing if fuel would pump in on its own and still nothing. im thinking maybe the line could be clogged somewhere. i mean, the gas that came out the first time was like.....apple juice and nesquik mixed together. pretty nasty. but here you go, some footage of the car cranking with gas directly into the carb. and before the new pump.

first start up is always nice aint it! congrats. and yeah. t tell you the Truth man. id replace the gas lines from the tank to the carb. as soon as i put a new fuel pump into my 88 and started it and gave it a high rev it blew a hole in he gas line under the floor pan and caused a little bit of a very small fire. just something id at least check! granted less fuel pressure for the car but id still check them and make sure there not rotted.
