Well the mod bug bit pretty quick considering that I've had my car for about a week now...lol
I'm thinking of getting a shifter (Tri-Ax or MGW) but I've only heard good things about both and price for each is about the same so no real worries there.
I'm also considering gears (uh oh, 4.10 vs 3.73) and don't know if I should go with FRPP or Motive. I'm still relatively new to Stangs so bear with me...I did a seach and came back just as confused as before I started.
What all is needed for a gear swap and who (if anyone) sells a complete kit. IE, I don't wnat to have to get gears from here, pinion from there..blah blah blah. Does anyone sell everything needed for a complete swap?
And for the FRPP vs Motive debate...I searched and found that Motive seems to be a "hit or miss" as far as gear whine goes. I don't want to save $40 just to shell out big bucks getting my rear end fixed so I think I'll just go with FRPP unless someone else makes a better kit. (content and quality).
Okay, back to 4.10 vs 3.73....I drive ~80mi everyday (70% highway) and make a 4hr drive once or twice every month (95% highway). The car will continue to be my daily driver and will seldom see the track, although I do like to romp on it every now and then if someone wants to play
. I've driven a 98 cobra with 4.10s and loved it but since I have a GT I've heard some say 3.73s are better.

Maybe I should just say screw the gears and shifter and just buy a Bassani cat-back
