Ok....I've been annoyed by this for a while and thought maybe someone here knows about it. Why on almost every import (fast or not) the mufflers and tips are always at an angle? The only times I see them straight out the back is if its on a dual exhaust car mainly. Other than that, if its single setup, more times than not its at an angle under the car and sticking out. Why? Sorry...just wondering.

It does a better job of spraying the burnt off oil and or carbon deposits onto the bumper.

from what ive heard from a buddy of mine that has a honda, is that the angle of it creates less of a bend or something in the exhaust to get it out faster..who knows but makes them look even worse imo

You can see more of the muffler that way! Duh I know plenty of import guys who have the mufflers coming out straight, and it looks retarded (yeah, more retarded than at an angle believe it or not lol).

from what i can tell in most cases it's from the muffler not having enough room to go straight back or the gas tank is in the way for their huge rice cans. Plus, they can! There's no room taken up from a pesky rear drive shaft. My bro has 3" exhaust all the way back on his turbo Supra and he runs it straight tho.

That whole ricer fad is still alive? I thought it started to die out? Who knows or who cares. I don't understand these kids these days.
