Nice numbers!

You t-5 is indeed going to hate you! If you get any traction in 3rd gear...look out! That's all it took for mine to go bye bye! It's not a matter of how well you shift, but rather how much load you put on it. A stock clutch and regular radial tires go a long way into making things last longer...but what fun is that?!?

I'm now running a 3550 and it's been perfect!!! 6000+ rpm shifts are cake...and I'm now never worried about "when" the tranny is going to take a dump.

A word of advise though..you may want to keep the shifts down below 6k unless you want your block in 2 pieces sooner than later. The high rpms combined with the extreme load is what tends to stress the block to it's limits. You can have a perfect tune and still easily split the block with less power.

well right now till I get bigger injectors and msd ingintion I cant take it over 5500 rpms
 
what were the sae #'s

dont know ask Aaron or I fiqure that you would be able to convert. I know Dan said that his dyno's drum (the thing the wheels turn on) weights 3500 pounds.....and as your friend tried to say a dynojet is like free reving your car...my SC doesnt make boost unless there is load on the engine and it made 15 lbs so whatever. Yeah I would guess HIGH 400s if not break close to 500 on a mustang dyno

I have a dss 331 with ported tfs heads tfs stage 2 cam and a vortech v-7 y trim on it as far as fuel i have 42 lbs injectores and a 255 pump. Well i have a couple of problems you could probabley help with me with. Around 5000 rpm i lose alot of power i think i am blowing out the spark. the other problem is im only seeing about 7lbs of boost with a 3.00 pulley. one day i saw 10lbs but i dont know if my eyes were playing tricks on me. how does your car feel when you ignition doesnt hold up? i have a msd but im not sure if it works or not how do i know if it does?

My buddy's ran out at 390rwhp on a h/c/i s-trim car. But there's a local guy I know of making 623rwhp on a turbo car with a stock short block, one 255, stock fuel lines, stock rails, and 42s. It's been together for a couple years too.

how did he make 623 rwhp with 42s I am only making 540 and I have 2 255 pumps with 42s and my injectors are at 100 percent duty cycle at 5500 rpms :shrug:

could be possible that you are blowing spark out. You plugs need to be gapped from .028-.032 is a good range. It is possible that you did see 10lbs then and now your belt is slipping. Get as much belt tension as you can on the SC belt. He never really took my car past where the igintion wouldnt go...he just said it was starting to get weak with as much spark as I had in it. He could take it out but wouldnt run that good so I got a chip switch where I can change it. Well If you have an MSD and it works I dont think 7 lbs would blow it out unless your plugs were gapped WAYYY to big. Sounds to me your 42s could be maxing out. The best way to find out man is get that thing to a tuner. I wouldnt try and guess with SC they will DESTROY an engine QUICK without a tune...(even with a tune if its making too much)

You cant just make a rough calculation when trying to determine sae without knowing the weather correction and elevation factors.

I would bet your car makes 420's-430's at most on mustang dyno. Given that dan's dyno on std's shows a pulley only 03 cobra making 511-520 where as on mustang they will make 420-430's.

so since when does 42s max out with 420 rwhp :shrug: 511-520 is not 540. 540 is not full potential on my setup either. I could get MORE power from it with a msd box and bigger injectors soo whatever...uhh lets see I can tell you those factors...this is EXACTLY what my dyno sheet says...runfile_005.drf-4/18/2008 11:17:39 AM Run Type:RO Run Conditions:81.01 degrees F, 29.41 in_Hg Hundity:9 %, STD: 1.02 Max Power= 540.16 Max Torque= 523.34

I remember when I posted that my car was making 460 and you said it would only make 420 ish and now you say since it made 540 it still only make 420-430 LMAO You are judging my car comparing to a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PLATFORM AND 03-04 cobra. They are no where near the same power plant so you cant compare them together
 
your rite a 03/04 are two different cars but the reason you car is making such good power is bc most portable dynos pull unload so its just a free sping measurment but i know dan has the abilty to turn that off and load it to where the dyno actualy simulates as if he were drive down th rd with the full weight of the car so it has the rolling resistance on it witch would drop your power down , just somthings people dont want to hear after having there car on the dyno . but either way its still good numbers

Notice the sae????????????????? That means I was saying had dan converted your numbers to sae you wouldve prolly seen 420 on his dyno. A 2.8 pullied 03 cobra makes sae on his dyno 480ish. Are you learning yet??

Those same cars on aarons mustang dyno (the ones that make 480-490 on dans dyno) make 420-430's all day long consistent as the sun rising in the east (you know the big yellow thing in the sky?) Which meant at that time you were making 460hp std on dans you were prolly making 380's on aarons.

You make 560's now std convert that down to prolly 530-540's sae and your talking maybe maybe if your lucky 460-480 on aarons dyno.

Before you respond with some response trying to show some glimmer of intelligence, stop backspace everything you just typed and dont post.
