ok so from what i am hearing a throttle body or a mass air is not going to give me much bang for the buck, what about an intake? i have been reading posts that say some intakes can actually hurt performance on a stock engine? what do you think my mods are listed below. the engine is pretty much stock wich intake? something will low end torque? what kind? lets hear what you have to say!

cobra or gt40 would be good...or edelbrock. they will only hurt performance if it has huge runners like holley intakes or trickflow intakes.

Yeah, not much you can do until you do something about the heads, and lower intake. those are the 2 most restrictive parts on a stock 302.

I'm running a similar setup as you but I have the Trick flow Track Heat intake and my car pulls pretty damn good.
