well,

Got home today....loosened up the shackles. Car wouldnt bounce...at all. Found out I had my caltracs WAY WAY WAY too tight. I loosened them up so there was a good amount of play...THEN bounced the car. Torqued down the shackles, then adjusted the caltracs. I left the torque bar in the same hole as seen in the pics. After loosening the caltracs and bouncing the shackles....

The rear dropped about 1.2"!! NOW it sits right where I want it to! I have some new pics of the ride height. Its so subtle...but noticeable to me. I took another 5 or 6 pics of the caltracs, shocks, rear, etc.....just have to get them hosted.

I rolled the lips...I cut slits in them, and then rolled them. So, there was baremetal. I took some rustoleum paint i had laying around and made sure the bare metal was covered. The car is going in for a complete paint job and body work...so I wasnt concerned.

Man I made that mistake once, too. When I rolled it after cutting, it bent out uneven as hell right were I had cut it. I would still move the the bar down one notch. When I talked to Calvert racing they said that moving down moves the point of center foward and that's where you should start. "The top hole tends to shock the tires too much" is what the guy told me when I talked to him. He also said to adjust the bars down till they touch with the weight of the driver in the car. Then 1 and a half more turns after that and lock em down to start.
