I see people wanting to do things such as a TFS top end kit for $2100 or something in that area in a quest to bring their stockers up to around or a little over 300HP.

Well, Why wouldnt they just spring for one of these and pull the stocker out all together and have a brand new engine?

Forgive me, Im rather new but it seems that (to me) would be a better deal and even get 400+ HP to boot.

Thanks

good call don't forget after they spend this cash for this long block they are going to have to upgrade fuel system aswell. and of course there is the issue of intake and since the fuel system need upgrading might aswell by the bbk intake with fuel rail upgrade.

This should be in talk... Daggar?

Regardless of that, at over 400HP to the wheels on the stock 5.0L block you are pushing the it's limits. Most people at that point need to decide to step up to an aftermarket block or run the risk of some serious failures.

I don't see that engine combo they have ever making 410 RWHP maybe flywheel, i probably see it making around 290-300RWHP.

Just stick a JY turbo on it and call it good, haha.
