I am doing my new 302 all old school, carb. and non-emissions, but i was wondering if i took a new 302 block that was running fuel injected, if i could just bolt on my intake manifold, carb. etc.? I heard that the heads are angled different but I have no idea.

Thank you.

Alright, cool. Another quick question, everything I have will bolt up, but I have not dealt with roller cams, and was curious if I am going to need taller valve covers than my old chrome ones for a 76 302?

I have heard that the mechanical fuel pump boss isn't on the newer efi blocks. I haven't had a chance to look yet though.

it's not there but that is on the timing cover, you could get one off an older motor along with the water pump because the shape of them changes
