old school engine swap...

i had an old friend who just passed away. he had a 54 f100. he had an engine over in the corner and gave it to me, but im not sure what size it is or what year its out of but he was thinking of putting it in his truck. i saw 8425 on the head and 6090 on the intake. i think it would be fun to put it in my car. what size is it???
