I finally have "Ole Yeller" ready for the summer. (1994 Mustang GT) It has been a year and a half project. The man that I bought if from installed the new engine and transmission, then stopped working on it due to the economy. It was in a shed for over two years with well water in the engine and radiator. It messed everything up, but I saved it! Let me know what you think!

looks good, sounds good! congratulations! :nice:

Safety wire on the header bolts....I don't miss that stuff (I was an aircraft engine mechanic, everything is safety wired on an airplane. I don't think my fingerprints would match up due to the scars from getting stabbed by that stuff) :notnice:

Surreal end to your video...its ready to go, yet goes back into the garage...:(

North Carolilna? I miss that state...

Thanks!

I was an aircraft mechanic also. I worked for Flight Systems Inc. in Myrtle Beach, SC. After Sept 11, 01 the company went down the tubes. I got my NC plumbing license, so that's what I do now. I don't miss all of the paperwork and red tape of working on planes. I don't have insurance on the car yet. I just wanted to make a video while the engine is nice and clean. I just got finished with it today.

Thanks!

I called several different insurance companies. I will try to get some insurance tomorrow. I Installed a new steering rack and tie rod ends, so I will need to take it straight to the alignment shop and then for a nice test drive. :D
