ON 3.... Yea or nay?

I've had very good luck on Corral. Just buy stuff from those with plenty of feedback and that have been around for a while. I've seen plenty of low use turbo kits (pony down, B&G, ptk) going for very nice prices. There is always a deal to be had. I've sold a lot of stuff on there for steals just to get it out of my garage.

Well there's always the buy gently used stuff off corral route.. seems to have worked so far.

:hide:

Half the stuff on my car came from there.

And as far as the turbo forums go, I really only read in junkyard tech and the build threads. Some of those guys build awesome setups for dirt cheap. They really are "elitists" as it was put earlier. I still think its a good source of info there.

It's a joke from a local forum I'm on. Most people who decide to do a turbo build end up never finishing the build or leaving it to sit on jackstands for an extended period of time while they accumulate parts or save money. Others are on a 2nd engine, etc...

So, anytime someone posts a classified ad on this local forum for a turbo car, we always ask if jack stands are included :rlaugh:

I have an extra pair of jack stands I'll give you in 8 years when you get your car back :p

Thanks...there almost done with the motor work..heads,timing chain are done intake going back on..then the turbo install...Oh they did the fuel pump already..they have to re-locate the meth injection set-up IE pump..and tank to trunk...and i was still speed density they have to convert it over to MAF..I supplied them with all the parts...except for a few things they might need which they will get...So basically i will hopefully have a turn key car when i pick it up...
