Ok, well here is my car in the show this past Saturday. Won 1st place. I had several guys stopped by afterwards to say how nice it was to see these cars out there again....and one was a 2005 mustang covertable owner. he was a really nice guy...and he said he loved seeing our II's again.

The typical sterotyped BS reputation that goes with our cars have been stopped, at least in my area. I fought in my mustang club for our rights and they are glad to have me and mine. My task has been accomplished. Should be all pleasure now. You guys have to work on your corner of the world. Only had taken 3 years.

By the way, I was watching "American Idol" on Wednesday night for their final episode.....and right before they announced the final winner, they paused for a commericial....and guess which one!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YUP, OUR 2005 mustang commercial. God, i jumped in the air shouting and woke my 18month old. Dam straight! I also had the DVD burning the TV show....Yup, got it. One of the highlights of my life I must say.

I guess you need to click on the image to increase size:

That's nice!!

I was at a show this past weekend and saw a MII fully restored, sitting in line with a few Shelby's, ect - the MII is one of the best in my opinion. Re-affirmed why I been trying to get a Cobra II to do the past few years.

I like my '65 stang, but need one of those Cobra II's as well

Thanks 78CobraII. Yea, it was really neat. i have a few pics with just the 2 cars. cool stuff.

thanks BBracer.... the way you feel is the way the trend is going in my area. I think its a combo of resto and uniqueness. I had people gather afterwards to see the car again after winning. Pretty cool stuff.

Jon, your car looks great, and you should be very proud. You've done a top notch job with it,and I hope your car inspires other II owners to go after originality. I know when I was doing the 76, the more original stuff I put on the car, the better it ran .
