one of the baddest stangs i've ever seen!

Tims 900RWHP KB 2V is totally street worthy. Even the cams sound mild when listening too it.

Now mounting the turbo up front sortof kills the street worthyness of the car....but I think there is a large difference between "street car" and "daily driver car" .
Sure it doesnt have to be your DD, but if its capable without issue I would call it one. A street car is anything with an inspection sticker on it. JMO though.

But hey, none the less AWSOME CAR!!!!!!!!!! And yea that was a FULL pull guys...probably to a good 6500RPM. The first hit wasnt...but the second was.

Car is going to be a PAIN to drive though...on the street its totally useless, especially with lag like that, an on rush of power all at around 4000RPMs+....no way.
Not sure why you would build something like that, because there are alot of twin kits on the market that will spool faster, make well over 1000HP, and wont suck huge rocks into the blades... but to each their own! :D

And what got me is that hes planning on "upgrading the turbo" AHAHAHA DUDE ITS BIG ENOUGH ALREADY! You want to have some boost before 5000RPMs LOL

he broke the record for the worlds fastest stock displacement stock s/c style cobra back in the summer. it never ran a sanctioned event so it wasnt offical but it did do it.

he wants a RACE car. his prior vehicle was a harley truck built by johnny lightning with a KB and spray. it ran 11's full weight

Ok so he wants a race car...I thought he was building a street car and got carried away :rlaugh: .

Now that changes the game alot...for a race car its setup pretty well. Stalled auto with a transbreak and turbos. Spooling isnt much of an issue at the track provided he can build enough boost off the line while on the trans break. But a streetable car....eh its not designed for that so he should just leave that alone and stick to running to the store in it everyonce in a while. :nice:

That's not true, at all IMO.... Just because a car can run those times, doesn't mean you're ALWAYS flooring it, always in boost, always applying all the 600+rwhp ALL THE TIME. Streetable means it can retain street manners in daily driving (doesn't cam too much, isn't too noisy, is comfy, doesn't have a super obstructive cage, runs on pump gas reliably, doesn't shear belts or blow anything up on a regular basis).

So not being able to get traction on the road isnt a factor. At 1/4 throttle in the car he could get the it side ways at anything below 50 mph. If the roads were ever wet the car would spin taking off and if it was raining well you basically parked it. Now your talking about a car that makes way more power than that. Dont tell me that car wouldnt be a pain to drive on the street. Plus I bet that car has some heating issues too.
