well according to my friend who was in the car behind me today only the right tire was spinning :bang: . well im still selling my car and im not gonna rebuild the trac-lok. ill just let whomever know. but anyways since i will be getting another stang i was wondering whats a good street/occasional strip diff would be? hopefully less than $400 big ones. i know i could rebuild the trac-lok for like $40 but will it hold up with even drag radials?

any experiences on any diffs? good or bad?

thanx

The factory traction-loc unit is a pretty good peice, Ford does one thing real well and that is rear ends. I had the one-wheel peel so I did some research with a search and found lots of good info. The difference is in the packing if you want it extra tight.

Factory: clutch-plate-plate-clutch-plate-plate-clutch-shim
Extra pack: clutch-plate-clutch-plate-clutch-plate-clutch-shim

I get two perfectly identical black marks when I lay rubber on Nitto DR's, although my goal is not to lay rubber.
