Big difference between a hesitation and a miss. It's most likely a miss and If its a miss, it's most likely a bad coil or spark plug. Hesitations are usually related to the throttle body, throttle position sensor, or accelerator pedal sensor.
A miss should be detectible by performing a power balance test, injector flow test and/or relative compression test. Find somebody with a scan tool that can perform these.
Tracking this concern down on your own without a capable scan tool is likely going to be an expensive adventure guessing what's wrong and throwing parts at it.
