I have a 88 rollerblock that i will be putting together next week.I have a set of edelbrock rpm heads with 1.9 intakes, a trickflow cam # 51402000, and a weiand stealth intake. 600 edelbrock carb and equal lenght headers. Will I have piston to valve issues and what type of rear wheel horsepower can i expect.Almost forgot this is a stock shortblock. Thanks

So that is the trick flow stage 1 cam. Nearly every 5.0L guy out there runs that cam with no issues. I bet it would be a sweet set up. I wonder about the port matchup for the wiend stealth to the edelbrock heads.

Now I believe this is the port size on the performer RPM heads: port 1.20" x 2.00" This is the port size on the wiend stealth: 1.83” height 1.02" You can see they don't quite match up. I believe the edelbrock performer rpm has the same ports so it would be a better match.
