I dig turbines, wish they came in 16", but the fewer spokes there are, the easier they are to scrub when it's bath time.

I'd have to say that my absolute favorite OEM wheel are the old Magnum 500s. Here's a photo-shop of some Magnums on my 86. I really think that this is the way that I'm going to go once I get around to doing my 5 lug swap. I just love that old school muscle feel that they give.

Ponies are probably my LEAST favorite wheel but you're absolutely right about the chrome ones. Chrome Pony wheels on red cars are a very nice looking combo.

Thanks. I like the painted ponys but chrome, I like better. Out of the 4 lugger options I like them the most, just wish they were wider. When I get around to 5 luggers though it's gonna probably be pro stars.

As for being mounted on a regular Fox bod, I'd also go with the 10th Anny Cobras but I still love a nice set of Ponies. Especially on an LX since IMO the GTs take better to upgraded wheels.

My favorite OEM Mustang wheel is the 2003-2004 Bullitt wheel. I think they look awesome since they are a darker painted spoke than the 2001-2002 bullitt wheel. They also look sweet with 13" brakes behind them.


Just my luck, this is what came stock on my 2003GT. I get to look at this every day and love it! I am very meticulous about my wheel/tire/brake setup and am always cleaning/painting parts in there to keep it looking sharp

PS. If you want to see how anal i am about my wheel setup. take a look at how i have the center cap, locking lug nut and valve stem all lined up! lol
