Opinions wanted: Apply inside...

[Orange...]

So with this being the look my my mainly stock engine bay:

I've been toying with the idea of wether or not to get the intake painted up. at first I was all gun-ho about it... but I think the lustre of the idea is wearing off...

Should I (for next to nothing) get the intake painted orange to match the cam covers? Yay or Nay?

If so why or why not... I'm really stumped wether or not to do it... I have about a week before I'm taking my car in to get the bumpers repainted (again) and this will be a free bonus for me for the trouble. (as well as the 8 ball shifter handle I'm getting painted up orange with a black stripe)

I think the paint looks good when first put on, but after a while I don't think it wears very well and detracts from the underhood experience. I noticed that when attending car shows, I appreciate a clean non-painted engine bay over a painted one. But that's just me.

At first I didn't even realize the painted covers If you wouldn't have mentioned them, I would have probably over looked it.

i say paint the manifold and leave the CAI as is

If you are takling about the lower,i say yes,but leave the aluminum cross over as is,ol' natural,plus leave the upper all natural,or even get it polished.That as a combo would look sweet.

Thanks for the responses... I think I have my answer... Yes...

And also thank you for the comparison photos ( I really like how that looks)

And to all... yes I did mean the lower intake...

And also the STB will be done as well (I'll probably just pull another one from a wrecker and get that one done... I don't want to be driving without one)
