Ok I have done alot of research and still can not figure out which one I want to go with. Alot of people say centerforce df but I have read that its not good for 400+ rwhp. Also looked at the spec stage 3 but people say its not good for the street and killed there t-5. So my question for you guys making 500 rwhp and 500+ rwtq what clutch do you use? Do you drive it on the street and if so how are the street maners? I dont care about stiffness as much as too grabby which will destroy the t-5. I will be street driving more that track. Also has anyone tried the centerforce dfx?
Thanks for you input!

I run a Centerforce DF with no problems at all. I have 408 rwhp N/A. Launch at 4500 rpm on slicks and have yet to have any issues. Next time around I will be using Centerforces DFX. Just because.......................

I was always under the belief that searching for a 500+hp clutch was pointless on a T5 because the tranny can't handle it anyway. I was told that you want a clutch that can handle around the same power as the tranny internals because if the clutch is stronger it can cause your T5 to grenade itself.

I will be upgrading the trans this summer, but need a clutch now. also the nitrous will only see use maybe a couple of times a month. I know the trans will go but I dont want it to go on the way to work because I bought the wrong clutch.

Im using a centerforce DF clutch with my TKO600.

Pedal effort is the same if not better than a King Cobra.
Smooth engagement, no chatter.

Oh and the TKO600 feels like my T5 with a slightly stiffer shifter, probably since the trans is new.

Not caring about stiffness is your first mistake, that's a mistake i've made before. Since you drive the car to work, pedal stiffness makes a big difference. Getting stuck in traffic with a stiff pedal is no fun.
