Order to delivery 7 weeks

My car arrived today! I will pick it up tomorrow! Mustang GT with IUP, spoiler, auto, side air bags, alarm, shaker 500. Seven week turn around with a two week IUP hold! For those interested here is the turn around time:
Ordered: 9/25/04
Start build on: 11/9/04
Came off the line: 11/11/04 12:30pm
Released from factory: 11/11/04
Arrived at Dealership today: 11/19/04

Did you order the interior upgrade? I heard that it is on allocation and that completed cars are sitting in the lot at Ford waiting for them.

Got It!

Just picked up my GT today. Vehicle was built on 11.01.04, arrived at dealer in Dallas Ga Friday. Legend lime, auto, parchment, interior upgrade and Shaker 1000. I cannot say one bad thing about this car. The stereo is the sh-t! Handling, power, comfort, it is a whole new experience. I spent all day in the car. My 2000 Gt I enjoyed but this car is such an improved version I would not want my 2000 back. I am 50 years old and a service manager at a dealer in Woodstock, all kinds of cars I see and drive since we are a used car dealer. This car is more than I expected. It actuallly seems like a LSC but retains a true sports car ride, look and power. I know at the outside of the envelope probably the Mustang may come up short, but in normal life and in all the street hot rodding you can squeeze in, this car is the best yet!!!!!

I went to the dealer on 10/28/04 and put a deposit down for the torch red gt I built online. It's almost amonth later and no-one knows anything where it is when it's coming. It's just sit and wait till it shows up on the lot. Who do you talk to figure out when it is being built and ordered and all that stuff?
