Alright I ordered tweecer, now when i get it and install it do i turn the key to accessories to read the factor eec settings and save it then i use that to start modyfing the settings???

I also bought eec analyser, which i was told will help me fix my idleing problem due to my cam.

Thanks in Advance

Nick

I would not start with the GT calibration -- the Cobra calibration is much more tolerant of cams, and driveability is much improved. The downside to the Cobra calibration is that it is very soft in the fuel delivery & timing tables -- but that's a whole lot easier to fix than trying to get really good driveability from the GT calibration. You can download the stock J4J1 calibration from the TwEECer web site.

What kind of idling problem are you having? Surging? If so, just changing to J4J1 will probably 99% cure it. EEC Analyzer is a great tool, though -- it got me about 3 mpg

Yea, just play around with it. You can always go back to a stock J4J1. Just don't get crazy with the timing tables or fuel tables.

Welcome to the world of self tuning.

Listen to Dave & Jake as they both have had good results from using the Tweecer to improve their tune.

I've done the things they have recommended to you and they are giving you the straight skinny.

If you look on the Tweecer site under the facts section I think you will find some basic info to the q's like you are asking.

You can find that on CalEdit under functions under MAF transfer than open "Load MAF"

Slow5.0, are you sure you had the correct MAF curve dialed in & injector scalars when you tried J4J1? It seems weird that you'd get hesitation and backfiring from it. Did you do any datalogging with it enabled?

I'm running the J4J1 as a base tune, but I just imported the fuel and timing tables from the W4M0 or whatever it's called. Runs great.

Have you tried more aggressive timing? I don't know about those highports, but if they're anything like my AFR's then they want a lot of timing. More than the GT calibration is going to give them, for sure.

Nope , that I tryed first 2 days and I was scared about Cobra strategy so I went with T4MO with fixed 24# , prom 24# MAF curve and bunch other stuff, I droped A/F ratio to 13.5;1 but on hot starts now keep stalling (if I play with gas pedal for like minut it won't stall)

No, i dont see what the big deal is anyways. I guess whats hard is interputting what the eec is going through when you datalog it.

Your gonna love it when you get it , i choose this over AFM's PMS system, cause i had a 2000 dollar paper weight (my laptop) intil now.

Hey guys I have little trouble with idle goes up and down a few times and stall, I have a lot changes on tweecer so I tryed again fron little things and I come up with
When I load pro m 24# MAFF idle goes up and down when I start car (cold warm or hot) if I keep foot on gas for like 30 sec idle stay at tight so problem is in that PRO m 24# load on tweecer , doesn't metter what else I tweek and add if I run without that pro m calibration everything is fine
Anyone know what I have to do with MAF cali
