Ordering this hood is becoming hell...

Ok. I ordered a hod from HO Fibertrends like 2.5 months ago. The total with shipping was $525 and some change.

I decided to send a money order and guess what. The money order got lost. I had to wait 30 days to file for a refund, then tney wait 30 more days to make sure noone cashes it.

I finally get the money back. Call them up and decide to do it by CC.

Had it all taken care of and then they call me back saying there is a limit of how much I can spend in one day. The limit is $500. So I have to call my bank and get that taken care of.

Then I check my acct online and I have $1,051.30 coming out of my account.

Man what the ****. This is so aggravating. I called them and they said they would take care of it, but this is still just messing with me.

But on the good side, they shipped the hood out yesterday.

sounds like a nightmare. what style hood did you get. i got the 95 cobra R from cervinis(looks great) not to rub it in your face but i got mine in one week with no problems.....more of a testimonial for cervinis i guess.

I got the 3.5 " cowl. Its kinda like a Cobra RR but a little smaller.

And its not really HO Fibretrends fault that the MO got lost in the mail the first time. But I dont understand how they could have sent one draft for $1000. I could understand two drafts for the $500, but not one for $1000. They must have accidentally put the quantity as 2 or something.

And they put the other half back in my account today. So all is well. And I just tracked it, and it will be here Monday or Tuesday.

I haven't actually put the hood on yet, but I did a quick eye-ball line up and it looked good. I am in the process of saving up to get the hood, front & rear bumpers, and maybe get the car painted...damn deer .
