overflow tank mounting

i recently did the contour fan install and need to relocate the coolant tank, the stock one is too big so i got the smaller summit racing bottle, my question is, can i mount it lower than the rad? i found a good spot in the lower driver fender for it. thanks

Yes just swap the fittings and hook the line from the rad to the lower fitting and the dump will be from the top....this way it will still recirculate.

can i hook it to the valve end and leave it on? if so do i leave the vent open on top?
