I finally removed my A/C from this car (like every other one I've had) usin the FMS kit, but this one seems a little different.

I'm wondering if someone can take some pics of a properly routed non-A/C P/S hose setup? Currently, this seems to fit best by running the metal part of the hose over the top of the pump itself, a little off to the side. I seem to recall my others cars have run completely on the side, but I could be wrong. I tried playing with it a little and it seems to fit best this way, but they could be replacement hoses that are too long or something else as well.

Pics please?

:nice:

There are two different length pressure hoses. One for AC cars and a slightly shorter one for non AC. It has a little different bend for the pump side fitting. I got a pressure hose for a non-AC car. It fits better.

I'm doing the same thing next year. I have the motor out of the car so I don't know if my hoses will work. They seem to be long enough to tie the pump up where the radiator would be so I assume they'll reach up to where the A/c used to be. I also have the FRPP kit ready.

I wonder why I remember them fitting better. Maybe I just need to move it around more and see -- I'd hate ot buy new hoses just for that, I'm sure i've gotten them to fit nice without that before.

Thanks for the info though, I may look into it if I'm not happy with this setup.

Have any pics of the 'correct' routing that I can look at?
