Hey guys,

Today I painted my brake calipers for the second time (the paint was starting to chip after being on for a year and a half). I used the Dupli-color kit, and it worked quite well. The colour is vibrant and it seems to be quite a thick coating as well (I painted three coats).

Anyways here's some pics for those debating this kit ...

EDIT: Car Domain sucks. Check out my web-site for pics. This is a direct link, just scroll to the bottom of the page.

Also, My paint has alot of swirl marks in it :notnice: . I went to a local auto shop yesterday, and the paint tech. wanted $270 + tax for a wet sand, polish, and wash on the entire car. Is this about the going rate for something like this? Also, I have heard that wet sanding your car should be used as a last resort to saving the paint. Is wet sanding really that bad? My paint is ok, but I would like it to be up to (or close to) perfect. Any advice for a situation like this?

Thanks,
Matt :canada:
