I had a day off work, so I decided I should try to do something about the chipped up nose on my car, and show ya guys some pics in case somebody's lookin for ideas. I did this because I could'nt find touch-up paint to match my car, and I was sick of small rocks eating up my paint up front. This took about 9 1/2 hours, lots of sanding (60 to 100 to 220 grit paper), a B&D sanding mouse, a dremel moto tool, 1 can of Plasticote Bumper-Black and a few beers for me to keep my sanity. Here we are...

F*@#^&*$ rocks

I dremeled around the blue tape to get the line perfect

Sanding is finally done

Painting....I painted then sanded with 220 grit 3 times before the final coat went on (used the paint itself as a primer)

thanks, and I have no idea what the color name is. It's a kinda mediocre paint job that was done just before I bought the car, and I think the paint was custom mixed because it looks like sonic blue, but at night it's got some purple in it. What I do know though is that by the time I was done sanding it I looked like a member of Blue Man Group.

thanks guys....and no the jackstands are from sears, I work at a shop so I dont really got many tools at my house. I chose flat black because its a good neutral color, and doesnt grab too much attention, but if you do happen to look in that area its looks neatly done.
