Just few days ago I found out that my parking brake cable is tight and holding me back, no wounder I am running slow at the track. How can I make my parking cable loose as possible ? Driver side back was tighter then passenger side cause cable was pulled to the driver side . Long time ago wen i did the burn out at the track my car rearend moved to the left real hard so i am thinking that's why pulled cable

How do you loosen the parking cable? parking brake is very tight and with only 2-3 click it holds rear brake real hard . I am thinking when i launch my car at the track my rear end goes down and then parking brake cable just grabs the brake

Going to the track tomorrow. Just to give you example

I used to run 13.5 with 104mph before cams and now with cams and more rwhp I run 14+sec with only 96-98mph

I don't think there is any way to adjust it.

Go under the middle of the car and look near the driveshaft where the e-brake handle is in the car. You should see 1 cable and then a bar with the two cables going to the wheels. How does that bar sit? Is it straight or is it cocked to the side?

Only think i can think of is that one caliper's parking brake mechanism is not releasing. Can you easily turn the wheels?? If it was binding, that rotor would be cherry red after driving for a bit and you would notice more brake dust on one wheel than the other.
