Parking/Emergency Brake??

anyone know how to tighten up the emergency brake. As it is in my car now it has almost no effect when I pull it up...

pop the little dust plug out and use a screwdriver to adjust the adjust screw to spread ur shoes out more..might be time for a brake job if there low...replace the wheel cylinder also cheap insurance
