I have a 1970 Ford Export T-5 Coupe w/ 200CID, 3 spd manual tranny, light duty 4 bolt hubs with drum manual brakes. I would like upgrade to bigger brakes and rear end with 5 bolt pattern and have two parts cars to rob from for free if applicable...1968 Galaxie with 390 and four wheel drums and 1970 LTD with 390, c6 tranny front disc rear drum. What can swap without reinventing the wheel and am I better off keeping this one original since there were very few made???

both of the parts cars are going to have rear ends that are just too wide for the mustang. better to find another mustang or a maverick or even a falcon to get an 8" rear end from. for brakes done on the cheap that work check out scarebird.com for disc brake brackets and a list of parts to fit your application.
