Engine Parts to pair with GT40P heads?

Would need some strong keytar riffs…

@foxbodyclark - we have a tendency to derail threads here and there but we get them back on track and every once in a while we provide useful information while we are at it.

If you want some really nice rockers then take a look at these:

IF you think those are expensive then these should make them appear more affordable:

What I am trying to drive home here is that stepping up to something that is better than the stock rockers will be expensive if you want quality. You only need to move away from thhttps://www.corral.net/threads/lift-limit-on-the-stock-bolt-pedestal-rockers-on-a-roller-motor.1153765/e stock rockers if you have a cam that has a some really aggressive ramps and wild lift.

I would still stick with the stock lifters and then check the pushrods for proper geometry.

100% agree with Mustang5L5 as the springs will need to be replaced and will need to support the cam profile.

On my " P " heads I used
Alex's parts for beehive springs
Lunati roller " TIP " rockers
Trick Flow pushrods
Most parts were changed as I just hate putting used parts back when everything else is new.. The "P" heads came on my Explorer engine so they were not an additional purchase... Not sure how many miles were put on these used parts in the engine so " while I am there".... LOL
If I can update to "better" parts while doing this I will, but this does not mean for additional performance. I was looking to build a nice street engine on my car...
Thicker walled pushrods cant hurt, The roller tipped rockers are supposed to help with valve wear...
My opinion of roller rockers on a street car is " gosh, they sure look neat"......

@limp - I tried to find those rockers and cannot. Are they still available?
Pretty sure they are Lunati, but when I went to their website no gotty.....
Not long after I purchased mine they went up $150 a set more than I paid for them... maybe they priced themselves out of the market..\
I want to say I paid $225 for the set.... I will go back over my paperwork and see if I can't find this bill.....
