back in march, i went through emissions and failed. hydrocarbons were high
i was planning on waiting till i was low on gas and then putting in rubbing alcohol and trying again. of course, i totally spaced out and filled up and didn't get any alcohol, so i was sure i was going to fail again.
then i had an idea ... my computer has been adding fuel in response to the adaptive strategy it uses in closed loop, probably because my injectors are rated for 43 psi but the rail pressure is actually closer to 40 psi. so i reset the computer real quick and went into the bay.
then came the moment of truth ... my HCs were 22 (anything below 175 passes) and the CO was .15 (anything below 1.00 passes)
