Based on the 2011 order form for the 3.7l engine (305 hp), it comes standard with a 2.73 limited slip differential (280 lb of torque 4200 rpm) with option for the 3.31 limited slip differential on the coupe only. The 2010 mustang 4.0l engine came with a 3.31 rear differential (240 lbs of torque 3500 rpm) This V6had 90 less hp but only 40 lb less torque. The 2011 will cost about $3500 more the 2010. Is it worth the the increase?

look at the market. its beating out the genesis coupe with a better interior, being lighter, more base goodies, and its cheaper. ford did an excellent job here. the fact that the previous V6's were pathetic should also be taken into account. ford finally did the little stuff that the car needed to be rad and i think its worth a little extra.

Is it worth it? Hands down yes its worth it just for the six speed alone. Everything about the V6 stang is great. I'm a V8 guy but would not mind having a 2011 V6 stang. That’s just how good this stang will be. I also heard ford has worked real hard on how the engine sounds. So we will have to wait and see.
