I recently broke my gas pedal off, and now that I need to fix this, I might as well get an aftermarket set. I was thinking the steeda pedals, either those or the bullitt pedals. I have searched a bit on this, and the only thing i could find is that the gas pedal IS a complete replacement, and the others are covers, which is perfect.. now is this true? if so.. where can I get help or guidance on this install? I know it seems stupid.. but i JUST bought this car, and im so afraid to mess it up haha.. thanks guys :SNSign:

My steedas are all overlays(screw in) I just bought the bullitts so i'll tell how hard they are to install once it stops raining here.

im not sure.. it just kinda came off.. im guessing it was already cracked or already broken, because it was already missing one of the mounting holes, and no plastic remnants were anywhere near.. plus my other pedals are thrashed too.. especially the clutch.

If your accelerator pedal was broken, I would check out the rest of the throttle linkage as well, to see if there is other damage waiting to leave you stranded.

easy..just buy the mach 1/bullitt pedals..a new bolt washer and nut to go through the back of the pedal and bolt that thing up.. i did all four pedals..the mach 1 kind..they really look nice, and make sure to use a heat gun on the brake and clutch or you WILL never get them on.

Bullitt pedals are very easy to install.

1.) The brake and clutch are the hardest to get on. I used hot soapy water and they slipped on very easy.

2.) The foot rest takes a little time because you have to remove the plastic side foot well cover. To do this you first need to remove the door sill cover, it just pops up with a good tug. Once the door sill is off it is pretty easy to see what come out next. Then there are two nuts that hold down the metal bracket that the pedal gets attached to.

3.) For the GAS PEDAL. You need to free up the throttle cable first. Then remove the gas pedal arm, its attched up near the firewall. Once these two item are freed up you will see a pin on the back lower portion of the pedal just remove the pin and then start installing the new pedal.

haha i was wondering who would have knew it was me.. oops.. haha i guess i was just testing out my new car.. a little rough maybe? haha oh well.. an excuse for new pedals, who wouldnt be happy?

I have the Bullit pedals from Pro3i (parts shopper). I just popped my foot rest off and it broke the plastic pieces. I then popped the new one on. I also juse used soap, no water or heat guns, and a very small flathead screwdriver (eyeglass repair kits) for the brake and clutch. They are a bitch.
