People with KB 6 psi/non intercooled come in

Hi Guys,

I was just wondering what your impressions of the 6 psi non-intercooled Kenne Bell kit are as far as reliability and power go. I would really like to hear from people who have this set up. Also, how good was the tune supplied with kit?

Thanks

I had the KB on my 5.0. It was a non-intercooled version that I ran at 8 psi (most of the time :p ). Although I can't comment on the tune for a 4.6L, my kit was very reliable and VERY powerful.
When I first installed the blower I had a 5 psi pulley on.. I could barely tell the blower had even been installed - no joke :( . Moving up to 6 and 7 psi pulley's made a noticeable difference, but my smallest pulley (which made 9 psi) was by far the most addictive. Even in the summer my car felt incredible! I guess what I'm saying is be careful cause pulley changes are a very simple process and net BIG results - it's easy to get carried away. Maybe you won't have that problem, but I doubt it! :D
I'd love to buy another KB (intercooled especially!) but I cannot allow myself to spend 3k on that. I picked up my previous KB for 1k from a friend.. a deal I absolutely couldn't pass up.

Good luck! :nice:
