He just thinks I have my priorities unaligned, esp. since I don't have a job!
I talked to the GF about them. She said she would buy them outright, and my axles and stuff for my rear conv.!!! All i'll have to get are the front spindles, calipers, etc.
Hey just a quick Q, can I use the 96+ axles with ranger drums? I like how they set the wheels out, aligned with the quarters.
F it then I'll just use rangers... I'll go rear disc when I save up some more money/ find a mark vii in the JY
i find is easier if you have some push the axle in and then pull the c-clips outs...goes faster...i dont really mind em... my biggest pita so far has been the fill bolt for the dif to get fuild in there.
That is the only way to do it, push axle in and pull it out, but it is not always so simple, have you pulled axles? It is a bitch sometimes if the s- spring is in the way, which in my case it always has been. I swear the hardest part of my t-lock rebuild was getting out my c-clips. I had to end up sticking a small flat head under it to gently pull it over the lip of the s-spring then I had to stick another large flat head in to pry it up. Only then was I able to get it out. It should have been easy, but not everything goes as smoothly as you hear on the interweb
No what I am saying is that There was no way for me to get needle nosed pliers in. I have a HUGE assortment of all the best needle nose pliers, too. The S-spring was just blocking the way, and also even if I could get needle nose pliers on it, it was always a pain when the damn thing spun around the axle on ya oh and to put it into perspective when I was putting the clip bac in, I literally had to pound it with a sledge to make it slide into place.
