alrighty well here is a lil update.

I told him I definitely wanted them, but I would like to see some pics and he said that after looking more closely at them he wouldn't let me pay more than 75. He said one of the tires has a nail in it(I have a patch kit and have successfully patched many just like it so that didn't matter) but the curb rash looked pretty extensive from the pics I saw. I offered him 50 bucks so they will definitely need a big sanding and maybe some paint if I can't get them to buff out. What do yall think? I'll put pics up in a second.

despite how you guys feel about not painting them I am thinking I have to. I'll paint them a light silver, a few shades lighter than pony wheels. Here is the carnage. The one wheel will probably have to be replaced, I think I can sand most of the little imperfections out.

Thanks dawg!!!! Sweet, now I can even have a full size spare if I get 13" front brakes!!

He said he couldn't go to 50, but I told him I'd take them for 75, still a heck of a deal I think. I'll clean them up real good.

no you cant....

taken from sn95 brakes

**Important note here! The SVO/Lincoln front rotors will NOT work with the Ford '98 & '99+ Cobra, Y2K Cobra R wheels, and '97+ GT 17" wheels. Most of the wheels will mount up ('98 cobra and the Bullitt wheels will not), but you will not be able to mount the center cap due to the larger dust cap on the rotor

Ryan are you sure, how do you know?

It makes sense, technically this rim came out in 96, and in that article it says 97+GT wheel. I think it will work b/c of the way the center cap covers the lugnuts too, which will probably give plenty of room to hide the bigger dustcap under the center caps.

How do yall feel about the ebay rotors? If I did the mark/continental route and ranger rear I could finish the conversion in an hour or so.
