Is there any reason for me to switch to Mass Air? I plan on running a mild(probably B) cam, an inexpensive head(probably ported stock or explorer) Exhaust (x or h pipe with gutted cats) and CAI. This is going to be a daily drvier and not taken to the track. I want this engine to last several years as a daily driver.

no, you'll be fine.

maf is a little more tuner friendly they say, i've never had a speed density car...my '88 was from cali

daily driver i say not to bother...if you have tuning probs...then do it
save the dough for rims or something

If you're going to run a larger cam and aftermarket heads you're gonna have to go mass air. However, you can stay speed density if you get a custom tune on the computer. Without mass air, you'll hve driveability issues.
