Picked up another Rustang last night...(Pics)

Its been a good year since Ive owned a fox so I thought it was time for another...Drove a 3 hour round trip to pick this sucker up...So far I like but Ill probably just sell it like I do all my other cars.

So obviously the nose was smacked, how bad is it?

I like the tree, It keeps this car Fa-Resh...And telling me the car was smacked is news to me...Engine is stock with a B cam and full exhaust, Nothing to write home about

I dont think the front bumper is the original, every time I see one thats been swapped it gets thoes points underneath on the corners. Also the passenger door/fender gap is all messed up. Get underneath and check the rad support to see how it looks. I bet thats the reason it has a cowl hood, needed a hood anyway so might as well do a cowl
All that AND the airbag wheel gone adds up to ouwies in the front

Is it an '89? If so..it never had an airbag.

I do see a crease on the driver's fender, but you would have to look yourself to see if it was whacked.

What was the original color??

its not an 89, the gauges are wrong for an 89, and yes the fender looks creased, take some pics of the fender aprins and all the welds and that shall tell you right there..

Why are they wrong for an '89? Late '89's (after April) came with 140MPH speedos and the dash emblem.

Plus it has the 87-89 HVAC controls and large headrests.

Mike youre right. I was thinking 90+ cause I didnt see the tilt lever. Looking at the A/C controlls and the idiot lights on the right of the wheel with the 140 mph speedo mark it as a 89

yup, Id say it has been in a fender bender before, nothing serious...the radiator support has a crease in it but has never been pulled out which tells me it wasnt anything serious, and the car still has a clear title...And the fender is not creased it just has a small dent, The car was red before
