Went to the local pick&pull today and found a ton of dual electric fans from taurus's,contour's,and winstars. could'nt help myself and had to get one today. I also came across a few aluminum drive shafts... going back tomorrow to check length, if they will work ill be grabbing those to.
The fan i picked up today has 2 different size fans. What if i wired the smaller of the 2 to run all the time and wired the larger one with a relay to be activated by toggle switch for use in heavy traffic and with the AC on? any thoughts?
I would just wire both of them to a controller, so they come on when you need the. Plus you won't have that constant draw and the fan won't prematurely burn out from running all the time.
