My Bullitt rear kit finally came in after about 2 weeks, but for $60.00 shipping to Hawaii from PPI, I can't complain.

My rotor hats came painted A little surface rust, but that'll disappear once the stuff gets installed

Caliper:

Just gotta get them installed now

Congrats San~man!
Those are going to look sweet on your black mustang.
Yep, don't worry about the rust spots on the rotors they
will disappear once you start useing them.
Are you installing new brake pads too?

No, I'm gonna use the oem ones that came loaded in the calipers.

I changed the front pads when I installed the front kit to Hawks, and the difference between them and the oem ones really wasn't that significant. When I couldn't get rid of the squeel that the Hawks made, I promply threw them in the rubbish can and re-installed the oem ones. Problem solved.

Ya, I got the full kit with all the necessary stuff. I was contemplating getting Brembo rotors to match the front, but I couldn't justify spending $300.00 for the rear rotor which doesn't actually do that much in the first place. These vented ones will do just fine, but the caliper and the larger rotor was more important

It came Friday, but I wasn't home so I picked it up yesterday from the post office.

I still use the OEM Motorcraft brake pads also.
They don't make any noise.I have heard of people
having noise issues before with the Hawk brake pads
I don't blame you for swapping them.
Post pics if you have the chance I would love to see them
on your car.

Well, it has it's ups and downs.

1. Road around the island goes in a circle.
2. Gas price outrageous.
3. No good Mustang shops like MPH.
4. Shipping kills you.
5. Salt water air kills the car.
6. One valley may be sunny and the next will have rain.
I can go on and on...

But, we have some of the best "climate" in the world, beautiful beaches, surf, and women....woot

Your right San I guess it does have it's ups and downs.
The climate in Hawaii is excellent. At times in the summer it
does get humid though at times.Shipping costs you a arm and a leg
and Hawaii has the most expensive gas prices at on average $3.18
per. gallon.Overall I like Hawaii and would love to go their sometime.

You should come and visit one day....we are an economy based primarily on tourism and rely on visitors to keep the unemployment down and hotel room occupancy up.

It is ALWAYS humid here, no matter what time of year. Only in winter does the humidity really go down to acceptable levels, and then it's only for a few weeks at best.
